Humanoid robots in 2025 are transforming industries by addressing labor shortages and enhancing efficiency through advanced AI, mobility, and real-world applications.
BMW Group for the first time tested humanoid robots in production. During a two-week pilot at a plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the new Figure 02 humanoid from Figure AI successfully fitted sheet metal parts into precise fittings that were then assembled as part of a car chassis.
Tesla plans to introduce prototypes to factories by the end of 2025, with production starting in 2026. Musk predicts that Optimus will help the company achieve a valuation of £20 trillion.

Amazon the robots that include loading and unloading trailers, moving pallets, fulfilling orders, and other tasks that occur inside Amazon's warehouses. The company is also creating use cases for leveraging the robots inside of homes, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and other uses. Incorporating Alexa into the robots will be tested.
